Tails of Hope Dog Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-specific breed rescue made up of dedicated dog lovers. We are a foster home-based rescue. We have a network of families and individuals who provide foster care in their homes for rescue dogs and puppies until they can be adopted into loving, responsible homes. We focus on medical cases and those dogs or puppies most in need.
Tails of Hope Dog Rescue’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused, abandoned, surrendered, neglected, and unwanted dogs and puppies from local shelters. Tails of Hope Dog Rescue pulls from many local kill shelters in and around Memphis, TN. Our adoptable pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed, have a negative heartworm test result, and are current on heartworm and flea prevention and microchipped. If a dog comes to Tails of Hope Dog Rescue with a positive heartworm test, the pet is treated before pet adoption. All medical records are provided in a packet at the time of adoption.
Tails of Hope Dog Rescue was founded in 2010 in the Memphis, TN, area and has saved over 2,100 rescue dogs with the help of countless volunteers and foster families. We couldn't do it without them!
