Application Fee

Tails of Hope Dog Rescue has found it necessary to institute a $20.00 non-refundable adoption application fee. This fee helps offset rising veterinary expenses and the time involved in reviewing applications, verifying information, checking references, and conducting home visits. It also helps ensure applicants are sincere about adopting. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee approval or adoption of a particular dog.

PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING YOUR APPLICATION: Once started, the application must be completed and submitted in one session. If you leave the page, lose your internet connection, or do not have the required information, your incomplete application cannot be retrieved. You will need to start over, including paying the application fee again. Please have the following information ready BEFORE beginning:

1. Veterinarian: Clinic name, address, and phone number.
2. Three Personal References: Name, relationship, and email address. References cannot be family members or anyone living in your household.
3. Designated Caregiver: An adult 18 or older who agrees to care for your pet if you become unable to do so. This person cannot live in your household. You will need their name, relationship, phone number, and email address.

Having everything ready will help ensure a smooth application process and avoid unnecessary delays.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting Tails of Hope Dog Rescue
