Meet beautiful is Harper.
She was found as a stray with two other dogs, one believed to be a pup from a prior litter.
Harper was pregnant with another litter and the shelter spayed her, thus "ending" her pregnancy. Between losing her litter, getting separated from her other pup, and dealing with heartworms, this little angel has been through it.
She went into total panic mode at the shelter and while attempting to climb out of the open top kennel run, she tore open her abdomen. That required a surgical repair. When she came back to the shelter, she once again tore open the surgery site trying to escape, so surgery two was done.
We were able to make room to take her in and life has calmed down tremendously for her. She is terrified of storms, but that is an easy thing to handle.
Harper is young, maybe a year and a half old. She LOVES people and truly loves other dogs.
She will start her heartworm treatment soon and then the search for her perfect home will begin.
She is an absolute sweetheart with lots of love to give! And this girl loves to snuggle.
Harper is currently safe and loved in her Memphis area foster home.
