Meet Andy!
Andy is an pair of adorable 7-year-old Shih Tzu who share an unbreakable bond with his sweet brother Amos. Sadly, due to their previous owner’s declining health, they were left in a backyard for some time before being surrendered to a shelter. By then, their coats were severely overgrown, and they were struggling with skin and yeast infections.
Thankfully, these sweet boys are now safe and thriving in a loving foster home! Their skin has greatly improved, and their playful personalities are shining through.
Andy is: fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, scheduled to be neutered, and on heartworm and flea prevention.
Andy is the slightly shy one of the two, but they truly are Velcro brothers—inseparable and happiest when they’re together. They love to nap side by side, explore the yard, and just be busy little companions.
They’re also making great progress with housetraining. Their previous owner likely couldn’t take them out regularly, so they were pad trained, but their foster reports they’re learning quickly!
