Meet Tootsie!
While our volunteer was on the phone with us at the gas station, someone walked up claiming the dog, then immediately said, “Do you want the dog?” (We can't make this stuff up.)
That dog, now named Tootsie, is safe because our volunteer was in the right place at the right time.
Sadly, she has a broken hip and a stomach full of chicken bones. She’s currently at Bluff City Veterinary Specialists, preparing for an FHO to repair the damage to her hip, once the chicken bones pass.
