Meet Lucy!
Lucy is an adorable Beagle (possibly a mix) who came to us after being surrendered to a shelter. Thanks to one of our amazing, beagle-savvy foster homes, she now has a safe and loving place to land.
Lucy is about 5 years old and has a sweet, gentle personality. She is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and has been started on heartworm and flea prevention. Sadly, Lucy did test heartworm positive, but she will be scheduled for treatment once she is spayed. She is also a bit overweight, so she’ll be working on losing a few pounds before beginning treatment—no worries, her foster family is already on it and she’s in great hands!
So far, Lucy has met children and her foster’s cat and has done wonderfully with both. She’s a true sweetheart who is soaking up love and care in her Memphis-area foster home.
Lucy is well on her way to a healthier, happier life and will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.
