Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, adoption fees help Tails of Hope Dog Rescue cover vaccination and medical costs for the dogs. Check out the image below to see some of the average costs we incur for our dogs.

Adoption Fee & What's Included:

$200.00 Adoption Fee

Along with daily care costs, adoption fees help Tails of Hope Dog Rescue cover the dogs' vaccination and medical costs. At adoption, Tails of Hope Dog Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

  • Distemper (DHLPP+L2)
  • Bordetella
  • 4DX Heartworm
  • Next Month's Heartworm + Flea/Tick Prevention
  • Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter
  • Microchip
  • Collar, Harness & Leash
  • Seat Belt Tether
  • Small Bag of Current Food
  • Goody Bag (Includes New Blanket, Treats, Toys + More!)
