Meet Jovie!
This sweetheart was found as a scared stray who jumped into her future foster's car!
Poor Jovie had mange, was underweight, and was just a nervous little girl. She is young, with an estimated date of birth of April 5, 2024. She weighs just 30 pounds, has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. She is also current on her heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
According to her foster family, "Jovie is a loving girl who would make a great addition for a family looking to either add another dog to their home or who has children that would love a furry friend. Jovie is kennel trained, leash trained, and has been doing very well with her housebreaking. She truly has been a pleasure to have as a houseguest and there is a lucky family out there just waiting for her!"
Jovie loves all the dogs in her foster home, is a tad too interested in the cat, and would be best with children over 10 simply due to her young energy level.
Jovie is currently recovering in one of our Memphis area foster homes. Though Jovie is not currently ready for adoption, we encourage any interested potential adopters to submit their application. We would love to have her forever home lined up the minute she is medically cleared for adoption!
