Meet Lilo!
This little Frenchie came to us needing quite a bit of help — not only did she have a leg fracture, but she also needed the very common nares and palate surgery that so many flat-faced breeds require.
Lilo had her surgery on May 6th, and we are happy to say she is recovering very well! She was also spayed at that time and is now up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention.
Lilo is a tiny girl, weighing about 13 pounds, and is estimated to be around 1–2 years old. So far, we know she does well with other dogs, though large or rough-playing dogs would not be the best match due to her recent surgery. She is good with cats and seems fine with older children, though she has not been around younger ones yet.
She is still working on housebreaking and making progress one paw at a time! Lilo loves being with her humans and absolutely craves attention.
As with all of our French and English Bulldogs, we do require current or previous ownership of the breed. These dogs often need very specific care, and after everything we have done to help them get healthy, we want to make sure they go to homes that understand and can keep up with their needs.
Lilo is in Memphis and ready for the right experienced forever home! Applications are being accepted! She will be ready for adoption once fully healed at which time she will " move" to our available dogs list.
