Meet Ace!
Ace was born May 19, 2023, and is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms, and is current on heartworm & flea/tick prevention.
He weighs about 45 pounds and is a tripod, but don't let that stop you from adopting him and making him an awesome member of your family.
Ace was born with a deformed paw and despite having surgery to try and correct it, the decision was made to amputate due to the fact it was more of a hindrance to him. Once that happened, this boy was off and running the way he was waiting to do all along!
Ace is the trifecta of Shepherds when it comes to his DNA: 41.6% German Shepherd Dog, 32.7% Dutch Shepherd, and 25.7% Belgian Malinois. What an awesome combo! Loyalty, brains, and confidence, times three!
This sweet boy is always up for a game of catch or a nice walk in the park. Ace has a playful spirit and is always eager to please. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home and he truly will need a canine companion in his forever home. This will help him maintain his canine social skills, keep him busy with exercise prevent any separation anxiety issues from arising since he has never been an "only dog."
He is built smaller and leaner like a Belgian but don't let his size fool you - this little guy is agile, strong, and is already excited for his next adventure.
Ace is great with the small children in his foster home. He is crate trained (he LOVES his crate), leash trained, and has not had one potty accident at all! He has not been around cats, but he likes to chase small animals in the yard, so we will say no to felines.
A home with a lot of steps and/or an unfenced inground pool will not work for him.
