Meet Angus!
This sweet guy is just 7 years old and recently found himself, along with three of his canine family members, at a shelter after their family lost their home.
Sadly, two of his companions were euthanized due to space. One was adopted, and Angus was facing the same fate as the others when we found out about him. Thanks to a wonderful foster family opening their home, Angus’ life was spared just in time.
Angus is fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is also current on heartworm and flea prevention. Most importantly, he is an incredibly sweet boy who simply wants to love and be loved.
While he does well with other dogs, Angus would also be a great fit for an apartment or quieter home because of his lower energy level. He walks on a leash but will need a strong handler—not because he’s misbehaved, but because he doesn’t quite realize his own strength! Angus weighs about 66 pounds.
He is a bit too curious about the feline community, so a home without cats would be best. According to his shelter notes, he grew up in a home with children and does very well with them.
Angus has already lost so much. All he wants now is to be part of a loving family again.
If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who is loving, past the puppy stage, and wonderful with kids, please consider Angus. He truly deserves a second chance.
