Meet Bessie the Beautiful Beagle!
This sweet 2-year-old beagle is 100% adorable—and we have the DNA test to prove it! Bessie came to us from a rural shelter along with a few of her beagle friends. She had clearly been bred and arrived a little overweight and still full of milk, but she’s now all dried up and steadily slimming down.
Bessie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, current on heartworm & flea prevention, and we are thrilled to share that she successfully completed her heartworm treatment—she’s heartworm-free and ready to live her best life!
She’s wonderful with other dogs, children, and even cats (yes, she’s been around them and is completely unbothered!). Her foster family says she’s one of the easiest pups they’ve ever had—so loving, gentle, and sweet.
Like any true beagle, Bessie loves to follow her nose, so she’ll need a home with a fenced yard where she can sniff to her heart’s content.
