Meet Charlie!
This handsome pup came into a shelter in October of 2024 with a broken rear leg. More than likely he was hit by a car. He was able to receive the medical care he needed and has since recovered very nicely!
Charlie is estimated to have been born around October of 2023 so he is a very young dog. He weighs 40 pounds, has been neutered, is fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, has been microchipped and is current on heartworm & flea/tick prevention.
He does well with other dogs, is kennel trained, and is learning not to pull on a leash (after spending 6 months in a shelter, we are not surprised he is rearing to go!).
He is a low-shedder due to his wiry hair which makes for easy maintenance. He either needs a home that has a dog he can play with OR a family that is committed to getting him the daily walks and exercise he needs (that means doggie daycare, a safe dog park, or a friend's fenced-in yard).
Though Charlie can be a couch potato he is still a terrier.
Charlie is currently hanging out in one of our Memphis area foster homes accepting applications for his forever family.
