Meet Eric!
Eric was born on July 27, 2024.
We ran his DNA and he is 50% French Bulldog, 45.2 % Pomeranian, and 4.8% Pekinese. Basically, a French Bulldog was bred to a Pomeranian mix and this was the result. Often that is due to someone wanting a litter of "fuzzy Frenchies." In Eric's case, that failed because he is not fuzzy at all.
Unfortunately, Eric had a rough start. His mother was very ill and almost died due to a difficult delivery. Sadly, a few of Eric's littermates passed away before we were able to help. The ones that survived weighed under a pound each and all had to be bottle-fed. And at 13 weeks Eric weighed under 5 pounds so he is very tiny!
Eric is the last member of our "Disney Prince" litter as his brothers have both been adopted.
Eric is adorable and very sweet but given his rough start, we are making sure he lands in the perfect home.
That means NO large breed dogs and NO very young children. Accidents happen and sadly, we have seen it and have had too many medical cases come in to us when a small dog has been severely injured by a large dog/small child.
NO inground pools UNLESS they are fully fenced off and he has zero way to get to it.
Eric also needs a home with an established dog already in it. Bottle babies can be needy dogs. They want and need a dog to grow with, learn from, and help prevent separation issues. Long hours away from home won't work for this little guy.
He is current on vaccinations, wormed, microchipped, neutered, and is current on his heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Eric is currently hanging out in one of our Memphis area foster homes accepting applications fo this forever family.
