Meet Hootie!
Hootie is a young, male mixed breed with a friendly, playful, and funny personality.
He was born March 15, 2022, so he is young but out of that "puppy stage," making him the perfect age!
He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, current on heartworm & flea/tick prevention, and tested negative for heartworms! He is the total package at just 45 pounds!
Hootie is an affectionate dog who loves to be around people and get all the pets and belly rubs -- he is a huge snuggle bug! He is great with kids and has lived with a cat previously without issue.
He also LOVES other dogs! He is a proud Camp Bow Wow camper and goes to daycare a few times a week to play with all of his human and canine friends there. He also recently did a weekend board with them and did great.
Hootie is a very well-mannered dog who is crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows all of the basic obedience commands. He recently completed a Basic Obedience class and loved learning with the other pups.
Hootie would be a great addition to a family seeking a second or third furry friend but would also be great for a home that wants just one canine. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard to run and play in. Though he likes leash walks, he truly loves to hang out in the yard at his foster home and sniff around and sunbathe. If you're looking for a gardening or grilling buddy, Hootie is the guy for you!
