Meet Lexi!
Lexi is an absolutely stunning Akita-mix girl with a heart just as beautiful as her looks! She was found running along a very busy street in Memphis, and we’re so thankful she was rescued and welcomed into a loving foster home where she’s truly shining. She was not microchipped, no collar and sadly no one seemed to be looking for her . Based on the fact she was staying within a very short area more than likely she was simply abandoned there.
This happy girl is about 2 years old and a perfect 57 pounds. She gets along perfectly with other dogs, both male and female, and has fit right into foster life like a pro.
Lexi is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative, and she stays current on heartworm and flea prevention. She’s crate trained like a champ, walks beautifully on leash, and is a joy to have around.
Lexi is full of love and sweetness! She adores belly rubs, cozy dog beds, and being part of a home where she feels safe and cherished. We recommend a home with a privacy-fenced yard, just to be cautious, though she has shown zero interest in leaving the yard in her foster home, clearly happy, secure, and content. She may do well as an only caine if not left alone for too many hours, or if you have a dog looking for a fun friend Lexi may be the one!
