Meet Lucy!
Lucy is an adorable Beagle /Cattle dog mix ( we ran her DNA) who came to us after being surrendered to a shelter. Thanks to one of our amazing, beagle-savvy foster homes, she now has a safe and loving place to land. Lucy is 705 Beagle and 30% Australian Cattle dog, which makes such a great mix!
Lucy is about 5 years old and has a sweet, gentle personality. Sadly, Lucy did test heartworm positive, but has started her treatment and will be finished April 9th! That means she will be ready for a forever family by the end of April! She was a bit overweight when we got her but is now a very healthy 25 pounds.
Lucy is in a foster home with other dogs, cats and young children and is great with all. She’s a true sweetheart who is soaking up love and care in her Memphis-area foster home.
Lucy is well on her way to a healthier, happier life and will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, on heartworm and flea prevention, kennel trained and most of all a lovebug!
