I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Hi! My Name Is Midge

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon

Meet Midge!

This one-year-old pittie girl should be chasing toys and giving kisses, not fighting for her life.

Midge was surrendered to a local vet in critical condition. X-rays revealed a deadly blockage caused by a piece of plastic, meaning she needed emergency surgery immediately. Midge did very well in surgery, and after a few days at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals under intensive care, she will be moved to her foster home to finish her healing and get ready for adoption.

Even in pain, her tail still thumps softly whenever someone speaks to her. She’s young, gentle, and full of love! She just needs a chance to make it through.

Please consider helping us reach the $3,000 needed for Midge’s emergency surgery and ICU care.

Your support will give her the chance to heal and enjoy the happy, healthy life she deserves. You can also send Midge recovery items through her Cuddly page.
