Meet Poppy!
This sweet girl was surrendered to a shelter when her owner had to move and couldn’t take her along. Despite that, Poppy hasn’t lost her loving spirit!
Her previous owner shared that she does well with other dogs and children. While she’s great with kids, toddlers may not be the best fit simply because Poppy is still young and playful—she might accidentally knock the little ones over during playtime.

She weighs about 48 pounds and is around a year old so she’s still very much a playful pup!
Poppy would be a perfect match for an active home. She’d love to join a runner on daily outings or be a fun, energetic companion for another dog who needs a playmate. She would also make a great doggie day camp champ!
Right now, Poppy is hanging out in a Memphis foster home, patiently waiting for her forever family to find her.
