Meet Possum, the most charming goofball you’ll ever meet!
This big-headed, lovable boy is about a year old and is full of affection. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He was heartworm positive, but has completed treatment and is doing great!
Possum weighs in at a solid 70 pounds and brings a whole lot of heart to match!
Possum is playful, social, and gets along well with other dogs. He’d fit right in with a multi-dog household and is good with children, though his size and energetic play style might be a bit much for toddlers. In his mind, he’s a tiny lap dog, but we think that only adds to his charm.
He loves to run and play, especially chasing the ball around, but he’s just as happy to flop down for a nap in the sun (or next to you if you need some cuddles). He’s a regular at doggie day camp and loves going to see his dog and human friends!
Possum would do best in a home with a yard; apartment living just isn’t the right fit for a big guy like him. He’s a quick learner and always eager to please, especially when there’s a treat or belly rub involved.

Possum is currently hanging out in one of our Memphis area foster homes and is accepting applications for his forever family.
