This is sweet senior boy Siegel. He and his sister, Sally, were facing surrender to a shelter when their owner could no longer care for them. Once we were notified, we stepped in to help. They are absolutely bonded and both incredibly sweet.
They appear to be Chihuahua/Beagle mixes. Siegel weighs about 10 pounds and has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworms. He was previously neutered and is now on heartworm and flea prevention.
Siegel and Sally have been battling mange, basic skin infections, and hookworms, but they are receiving excellent care in their foster home. Once they are fully healthy, they will be ready for adoption.
These two must be adopted together. Sally sticks close to her brother and follows him everywhere, and Siegel is an amazing big brother to her, it’s truly adorable to watch them together. They have been together since birth and are deeply bonded. After losing their owner, we do not want them to lose each other as well.
