Meet Walter!
This adorable little guy is a 12 pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix ( our best guess) with the sweetest face and a heart full of love to give!
Walter was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter-no microchip, no collar , and sadly, no one came looking for him.
Thankfully, he's now safe in our rescue and ready to find his forever home!
Walter is set to be neutered soon, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, microchipped, and wormed. he is also current on heartworm and flea prevention.
He does wonderfully with the cats in his foster home and has also done well with children six and up. Walter enjoys the company of other small dogs but big dogs make him nervous-so we'd love to find him a home with dogs his size or smaller.
Walter is a total people pup - his favorite spot is right next to you! Whether it is cuddling on the couch or following you around the house, he loves being near his human.
He's currently in a foster home in the Memphis area waiting for his happy tail to come true!
